hi. radio show i heard september 30th,2017. i get on 89.7. in a WHICH DOESN’T BELONG AND WHY segment or perhaps named ODD MANY OUT, the specific question dealing with women as white house first ladies. the host identified one of the four-lane i believe-as serving for buchanan, one of two elected bachelor presidents. the host then said that the other 3 WERE first ladies. included in the 3 was alice longworthy. she was not a first lady. she was the daughter of teddy roosevelt. nor was his first wife, alice as she died in 1884 and roosevelt did not ascend to the presidency until 1901.
