A Benefit for The Clemente Course in the Humanities

Your Clemente ticket to Says You! in Seattle will be honored for one seat (your choice) from 34 deluxe seats located front and center in the first three rows (Rows AA, BB, and CC) of Town Hall Seattle. You are also invited to a salon-style, pre-show gathering. Meet Lela Hilton from The Clemente Course and the gang from Says You! We look forward to thanking you in person. One LUCKY ticket holder will win a salmon supper cooked by Clemente’s own Executive Director, Lela Hilton, in the company of your own home, as long as it’s within 25 miles of the shores of Puget Sound at a mutually agreed upon date and time. (You provide drinks, starters, and dessert. Lela will provide the rest!)

Your ticket to the benefit will help provide an extraordinary FREE humanities education to adults living in adverse circumstances at over 30 sites across the US. Clemente pays for tuition, books, childcare, transportation and even college credit so students can experience the beauty and power of learning together from the great thinkers, artists and writers–Socrates to Caravaggio to Toni Morrison. Half of each dollar from ticket sales ($100 total/ticket) will go directly to The Clemente Course for the Humanities and is tax deductible.

For nearly a quarter century, Says You! has enjoyed a special relationship with the Jefferson County Washington State chapter of The Clemente Course. We will miss performing fundraisers (Says You! “Quips on the Quimper”) for our friends at Clemente.  With your help, we can all make a meaningful contribution to The Clemente Course in the Humanities in 2022.

Once you have purchased a Clemente Benefit Ticket to Says You! Seattle 

• An invitation to the salon pre-show gathering will be sent to you (email)
• Beverages will be served, please have proper identification
• Underage guests are welcome to attend the benefit and the show
• Tax forms will be generated and sent to you from Clemente (email)
• Proof of COVID immunizations will be required
• Masks are required as of July 2022
• A final update on mask and health mandates will be sent on Sept. 8, 2022 (email)
