DESCRIPTION:The Clemente Course in the Humanities® will team up with Says You! for a live show on Sunday\, April 7 at 4pm in Chimacum. Proceeds from this performance will go to the Jefferson Clemente Foundation to help in their growth and ability to increase programming to serve a broader demographic — including military veterans — and so many other residents of Jefferson County. Jefferson Clemente is unique – it is the most rural Clemente Course in the country\, held in a town of fewer than 10\,000 residents. Says You! is proud to return to the City of Angels to make their fourth appearance for an event that has come to be known as Quips on the Quimper. \nThe mission of the Clemente Course in the Humanities is to provide a transformative educational experience for adults facing economic hardship and adverse circumstances. Their free college humanities courses empower students to further their education and careers\, become effective advocates for themselves and their families\, and engage actively in the cultural and political lives of their communities.
